Description: Full Time Grounds Employee Full Time Position; Year Round Hourly Employee.
Qualifications: A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and work to deliver a great golf course for our membership daily. Prior golf course maintenance experience is great too, but not required.$15-$18/hr depending on experience.
Job Summary: Full time grounds employee, under the direct supervision of the superintendent & assistant superintendents, will perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; including semi-skilled grounds construction, the operation of small hand-powered equipment, & occasionally perform work involving larger equipment.
Job Tasks: (** represents duties which occupy most time)
**Operate equipment such as walking & riding mowers, weedeaters, blowers, etc.
**Participate with hand watering practices.
**Maintain bunkers to the high expectation set by membership.
**Fill tee & fairway divots.
*Participate with aerification procedures.
*Participate with golf course improvement projects. We are currently renovating all course bunkers in house.
*Participate with fertilizer & chemical applications
Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds and be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather. During the golfing season we work on weekends and holidays.
Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent Assistant Superintendents
Compensation: $15-$18/hr
