Description: Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Full Time Position;
Qualifications: A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and work to deliver a great golf course for our membership daily. Education and managerial experience are great too, but not required.Year Round Salaried Position. $46,000 to $52,000/yr with benefits and retirement after probationary period.
Job Summary: Direct & participate in the maintenance of the golf course grounds; Supervise the grounds staff, repairs & maintenance of motorized & other mechanical grounds equipment & other related tasks as required by the Golf Course Superintendent.
Job Tasks: (** represents duties which occupy most time)
**Assist in planning, scheduling, & supervision of all golf course cultural programs on a daily basis.
**Train & instruct equipment operators in the safe, efficient operation & care of all maintenance equipment & golf course management practices.
**Instruct & supervise new & current employees with new, innovated cultural practices & educate on the significance of such practices.
**Supervise & participate in the operation & maintenance of irrigation & drainage systems.
**Supervise & participate in daily, routine maintenance procedures needed to provide a championship quality golf course.
*Supervise & monitor all issues concerning the sewage treatment center.
*Responsible for monitoring the working conditions of the Thorguard Lightning System.
*Supervise & participate in pesticide & fertilization applications.
*Supervise with the operation, maintenance & repairs of mechanical equipment by direct correspondence with the mechanic.
*Provide daily communication with the clubhouse staff concerning golf course conditioning.

Compensation: $46,000 to $52,000/yr
